In case you’re wondering why I haven’t been blogging regularly, well…I’m setting up a new blog. Don’t worry, I’m not going to leave this precious baby forever. I just decided to create a separate blog with a completely different tone, format, and niche. I’m still fixing it, though. While this is my personal blog where I put every non-filtered thoughts I have, the other one is more focused on my crazy obsessions. Yup. Crazy obsessions. On other words, my fangirl stuff. Not gonna force you to follow it though ’cause it has a totally different target audience. But if you want to, why not? I’ll post the link when it’s up and running! Thank you! <3
Look at what the National ‘I Love You’ Day did to my stats. On the bar graph, October 28 was like a skyscraper amongst little houses. My very short and lazy post about that somewhat special day gained over 300 views alone. And will you look at the search terms? ALL NATIONAL ‘I LOVE YOU’ DAY RELATED. Wow. You, guys, are all suckers for love, aren’t you? Huh. I guess we all are. Thank you so much to all hopeless romantics out there (who are hopelessly hoping for love themselves—just like me) for making my stats go BOOM! Not that stats really matter but oh well. Thanks anyway! Here’s another virtual heart from me. <3
So, the typhoon hasn’t fully left the country, it’s still raining hard, the wind is still howling, and then we felt a shake that turned out to be a magnitude 5.4 earthquake, aftershocks expected. Yup. That sums it up. I’m definitely scared. (Please pray for us!)
WOOHOO! This is my first award nomination in a while. I can’t remember the last one. Anyway, thank you so much, Allison, for nominating my precious baby blog! That’s too sweet of you! We (my blog and I) really appreciate it! <3 Make sure you, guys, go check her blog, okay? It’s How to Get Things Done in 10 Ways (or less).
Now, for the rules:
1) Thank whoever nominated you and include a link to their blog.
2) Write a post and give a brief story of how your blog started.
3) Give a piece of advice or two to new bloggers.
4) Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to.
5) Let the nominees know you have nominated them and provide a link to the nomination details.
How the blog started:
The way my blog started is old news for most of you. Girl had too many thoughts in her head, wanted to share them for all the world to see. It’s simple as that. It was an impulse at the moment. I thought blogging was the best form of release. And it is. I didn’t care if people read my posts, I just wanted to write what I wanted to say. Blogging started out like that for me until it became something more. A hobby, a lifestyle. Now, that’s the right term for it. And it’s too late to go back for me. I can’t stop blogging!
How (not) to blog:
I’m not good at giving blogging advice—or any advice on any topic for that matter. Besides, there are tons of articles about this online. You can just Google it. But I’ll share with you what I think a blogger should NOT do. It’s to follow those blogging articles. Don’t do that. I don’t either. Just look at how messy my blog is! The only best way to blog is to keep blogging and you will never know the potential of blogging if you limit yourself to the tips and blogging advice written on the internet. Sure, they are helpful but not all of them works. It’s always a hit or miss thing. Besides, where’s the fun in following the rules, right? Just keep blogging and don’t be afraid to do so. If you’re after the fame, it’ll come. Just not overnight. But then, if you want fame, just be a pop star! What the hell are you doing here?
Keep blogging, ladies! You deserve the recognition! *winks*
OMG! I forgot that yesterday was my blog’s 8th monthsary. Dang you, school, for making me forget! I was so busy doing school projects that I didn’t realize what day it was yesterday. I’m so sorry, my precious baby. Mama Sophie won’t forget ever again. Happy, happy 8th monthsary to us! And thank you so much, guys, for making each month a wonderful blogging experience! It wouldn’t be fun without you. So keep blogging, everyone! Love y’all! <3

I’m going to teach you a new word. “Kinikilig.” It’s a Filipino word that means having this shivery rush from the butterflies swirling in your stomach due to flattery or the feeling of love. I totally made up that meaning though. I have no idea what the English counterpart for that word is. Hopefully that captures the idea because right now, I am so kinikilig. I have no other way to describe the feeling. These two pretty ladies, Mon and Vicky, nominated my precious baby blog as one of the lovely ones so, yup, I’m kinikilig right now. Thank you so much! :”> See that, my precious baby? We—I mean—you are lovely! <3
1) Thank the blogger who nominated you for the award.
2) Display the banner/sticker/logo on your blog. (I didn’t! Sorry!)
3) Share 7 facts or things about yourself.
4) Nominate 5 bloggers that you admire and inform nominees by commenting on their blog.
